About Wild Giraffes The
The Wild Giraffes (Chris King, Alan McGinty, Chris Burgess, Jeff Iannini, the late Edgar Reynolds and later addition Dave Ivan) were a local band out of Mentor (Cleveland-area), Ohio who were active between 1975 and 1974. They released 3 7" singles and 1 LP (Right Now) on Neck Records. It was a great time for 'alternative' music on the Cleveland scene, where you could go see The Giraffes, The Raven Slaughter Band, Insanity and the Killers (who later changed their name to The Killers*)
