About Wide Sea
Wide Sea is a London-based German four piece band formed by three brothers and their first cousin who have been performing together for years. Taking their name from American poet and dramatist Cale Young Rice’s Sea Poems, they relocated to the UK in 2009. Tight three-part family harmonies, gorgeous sixties soul melodies, hooks-a-plenty and jangly guitars inspired by classic American pop of the early 70s, country folk and C86, but firmly implanted in today are the ingredients for their intelligent heartfelt brand of pop.
