After making a fool of himself on national television, Whyte went into hiding in a network of subterranean tunnels beneath the Devil's Dyke in Brighton UK. Surviving on a diet of moon beams, various sediments and a 4 Kg sack of plum sherbet he had in his back pocket, he began to dig. He planned fastidiously, with each intricate detail laid out to bring him south to Spain. After digging for 8 years he eventually emerged with a glorious taste of victory.
