Who Needs Johnny was formed in 2006 by Samantha “Sam” Haedrich (17 years old, vocalist and guitar/bass player) and Alyssa “Aly” Clotfleter (16 years old, guitarist and vocalist) in Denver, Colorado. Both have a deep background in music and actually met at a local school of rock. They write and perform all of their own songs in what they consider positive, girl-oriented punk rock music. Having entered into a recording agreement with Direct Music Distribution in 2009
