White Shag is a high energy, female fronted, MC5 style stoner rock band from Detroit, Michigan. These cats started making magic a couple years ago and currently parade in the depths of the Detroit metro area rockin' out. Jorge Cortez grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan and started playing piano when he was 4. When he was 11, he went on a trip with his mom and dad to Paraguay where his cousin taught him how to play “Patience” on guitar. After that, Jorge always had a guitar in his hands.
