With their lineup finalized in early 2006, When Sorrow Fails began a flurry of activity. In their first performance, WSF opened for Poison the Well and Fall of Troy where they were met with praise. Before three months had passed, WSF went out on the road on their own for a very successful tour, traveling from the Midwest to the East Coast and back to their hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
