When Planets Align include Mark Nguyen (vocals), Juan Lizarazo (guitars), David Lopez (percussion) and Ben Reiss (bass) and are an L.A.-based alt/rock band with global roots. WPA's songs are melodic and catchy with classic rock elements including "Radio Silence" and the Spanish-influenced fable "General Santa Anna" about the winds that blow in the American Southwest and the notorious Mexican general. WPA's debut EP album "Radio Silence" was released in September 2009.
