Elliot Yorker was born in Jersey City, NJ on 02-12-1986 and also goes by a few other names as well. Some may call him GrimEY or DJ GrimEY. And others may call him Smilez. That's how he came up with the name G' Smilez. He first started DJ'ing in 2001 after falling in love with blend style mixtapes after hearing local DJs: DX, Nelly Nell, 007, E-Double, Big Tyme, Whimpy B and many more. While in high school he created a DJ team that goes by the name 201 Most Wanted which included some of the hottest up and coming DJs in Jersey City.
