About Westwood Click
Westwood Click was a hip hop collective from the early 90s from Memphis, TN, who reunited a group of neighbors from the Westwood region in the M-town, as the production and DJing of the group was held with the memphis-lofi-styled beats by the GOATs Lil Grimm and Shawty Pimp. Although the scene of the city was very characteristic, Grimm detailed in interviews his disconnection from the locals and his admiration for the NY scene, which explains the "bappy" drum patterns, who come along with the overworldly melodies.
