
Liu Wenjin (刘文金), born in May 1937, is a Chinese composer of classical Chinese music. He is best known for his erhu piece Sanmenxia Changxiangqu ("Sanmen Gorge Rhapsody", 1961). He also composed, among other things, Ballad of Yubei. He came to the United States under the auspices of the Chinese Music Society of North America.
