We ride phantoms surge apartir del gusto musical en comun de Raul Gonzalez y Pedro Silva, esto inicia a finales del 2007 cuando Pedro se muda al D.F., Raul permanece en Monterrey por lo cual empiezan a grabar tracks individuales que se intercambiaban via correo electronico de los cuales ninguno fue aprobado para grabarlo en un demo. En 2008 se une Alexis Hernandez, un guitarrista originario de D.F., Alexis y Pedro empiezan a trabajar en covers y en algunos riffs originales pero con pocas sesiones por motivos laborales de Alexis
