We Are Power take their cues from riff-heavy rock stalwarts such as The Bronx or early Queens of the Stone Age and push it to the extreme like a blow to the head. That declaration in the band name? They weren't joking... Tracks like 'Fire Takes No Holiday' start loud, get louder and throw in a bit more volume at the end for good measure. But none of this would be worth anything if the music wasn't any good. Luckily W.A.P. seem to have the best hooks since that bit in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
