About Watipies
Watipies (sometimes written as Watipi´s, meaning "Quite Typical" ) is a band from Twente, the eastern part of the Netherlands. For the first time together in this setting in 2013, they play a mix of funny, swinging and atmospheric music. They play their own songs as well as Balkan, Spanish, Italian, Americana, south-American and oriental music. Both acoustic- small and intimate- and electrically amplified. But doing so, always the world is their playground.
