About War Mothers
War Mothers were born and raised in New Jersey. Taking the name from a monument they found along the beach during a 1AM road trip down the turnpike when they were still teenagers. Since then they've moved out to different cities, spread out across America, got lost in the desert, lived outdoors next to the ocean, etc. The band is now based in Philadelphia, PA. Dylan writes the songs and plays them and Barrett records them and also plays them, their friends play on them too.
