About Vox Merkoni
Vox Merkoni was four-piece from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, informed by a digestion of different rock styles – and enthused by artists like Sonic Youth, Slint, Mogwai, The Mars Volta, Fugazi and a number of others – Mindful of a generic sound, the band aim to for a sense of distinctiveness, combining organised and compounded composition with moments of experimentation and invention. Their only album, Adlib for Alifib, was self-released in 2005.
