von Schrenck is a side-project of Kikais mastermind Marius C. Hammerich. it was formed in Krefeld, DE in late 2009. goal was to perform on legacy analog equipment only - including synths, drum-machines and mixers. modern stuff like computers and DAWs are used for recording and mastering only. Sequencers from pre-MIDI-aera trigger machines via CV-gate and some synths allow sound-design by patching cables. mostly used equipment: KORG MS10/20/50,MonoPoly
