About Vogeltje Zing Maar
Vogeltje Zing Maar is the project of female jazz vocalist Anne Chris to record some of the childrens songs her father Peter Dekker wrote for her back in the early eighties. Besides Anne Chris on vocals, Peter Dekker on guitar, amongst others bass player Cord Heineking joins the duo in the recordings sessions. The live set is played by Anne Chris and Cord Heineking, who also plays the piano parts. The self-titled album containing fourteen songs about everyday children life, was released in 2013.
