
Vladimir Toka (1942–2008) is a representative of the second generation of the Tuvan composing school and the first professional pianist among the representatives of the Tuvan ethnic group to make a significant contribution to the development of academic music in Tuva. Vladimir Toka left a rich legacy in various genres, such as symphonic music, scores for choreographic and theater productions, songs and romances based on the poetry of Tuvan authors, chamber and instrumental music, and works for children.
