About Vladimir Tarnopolski
Vladimir Tarnopolski (Russian: Владимир Григорьевич Тарнопольский) is a Russian composer, head of Contemporary Music Department and professor of composition at the Moscow Conservatory, founder and artistic director of Studio for New Music Ensemble. Tarnopolski was born in Dniepropetrovsk in 1955. He studied composition at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Nikolai Sidelnikov and Edison Denisov and music theory with Yuri Kholopov.
