
Vivian Jones (born in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica, in 1957; died 27 October 2025) was a Jamaican-born British reggae singer remembered for performing with several bands in the 1970s before recording as a solo artist from 1980. At the age of ten, Jones left Trelawney, Jamaica, in 1967 to settle in England. In 1977 he joined the band the Spartans and began to write his own material. A couple of bands later, Vivian went solo and achieved a number 1 in the reggae charts in 1980 with "Good Morning".
