Violet Ultra are a 4 piece band from Boston, Lincolnshire, U.K. Their debut CD "Disturbing Joy" was recorded for Holier Than Thou Records in September 1996 at The Outhouse Studios in Reading and was released in April 1997. A copy was sent to Kerrang and reads as follows: "Disturbing Joy" is a barbed combination of rock power and punk pace.
