About Violet District
Violet District was a progressive rockband formed in 1988 (as Incubus at the time, not to be mixed up with the rockband Incubus) in Germany. They released only one album, Terminal Breath. At first they released it on their own label, in 1992, before, in 2000, Tempus Fugit, a progrock-label, released the album. The band is clearly influenced by some major progbands, like Marillion, Pink Floyd, Jadis, IQ, Pallas and Pendragon. However, their album Terminal Breath shows the high potential of the band.
