About VIKOMT
VIKOMT is the solo sonic explorations of Burlington, VT based musician Jay Blanchard (Solah, Yellowknife). Exploring the boundaries of darkness and light, VIKOMT utilizes an array of sonic tools ranging from homemade instruments to analog synthesizers and field recordings to create compositions ranging from the bleakest of dark ambient ambient to the deep choral beauty of new-age inspired drones. VIKOMT’s first release, a split C60 with UK artist Coldstream, was released on Aether Everywhere records in early 2009.
