
Vic Fontaine was the name of a character from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, portrayed by James Darren, a singer of the same style. The character was a holographic lounge singer designed to portray a 1960s Las Vegas strip lounge singer, similar to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. He performed songs such as Come Fly With Me and The Best is Yet to Come. Most of the songs Vic Fontaine played on the show are available on This One's From The Heart (which was Vic's final line on Deep Space Nine, followed by a performance of The Way You Look Tonight.
