About Vestal Voices
Vestal Voices is a highly selective mixed choir at Vestal Sr. High School in Vestal, New York. It is directed by Mr. Dennis Powell. The group has recieved Gold with Distinction for 19 of 21 years at NYSSMA, New York State School Music Association. Vestal Voices is well known for its selection of music, including Moses Hogan spirituals, Eric Whitacre pieces, Freedom is coming, and much more! Vestal Voices performs every other year at the Heritage Festival in Virginia Beach, and has even performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2006.
