About Vessel Umpio
Vessel Umpio was something unique. One of the members, Harri Tuominen, later worked with his own avantgarde cassette label Valtavat Ihmesilmälasit Records (read here for more info). This EP has a terrible singer, new wavey synths, excellent drumming and the weirdest lyrics you could ever imagine. The words this vocalist utters from his mouth are either insane or pure genius, or both. Still there lurks some clever commentary about boredom, unemployment, emptiness and the superficial world we live in.
