About velvet first floor
Niko Lazarakopoulos is a greek musician living in Stuttgart (Germany). He is the drummer of a post-rock formation called Ma Chérie For Painting and named his solo project Velvet First Floor. The first album:"Stringa èt comm", signed on Diesel Combustible Recordings/Chronowax, is a sort of modern-folk piece with a taste of post-rock, all this mixed with a melancolic and deep voice quite similar to that of Arab Strap's singer.
