Velqn is this artistic nickname of Velian Staykov - 33 years producer living in Sofia, Bulgaria. Velqn is creating music in the last 15 years, all kinds but mainly IDM, ambient, some trance in the past. He works in a humble home studio using FL Studio as main sequencer/VST host, Korg PADKontrol for drums, Akai LPK25 for midi, Line 6 GX to record guitars and a Behringer mic+mixer to record vocals. Velqn is not a big fan of samples so he digs a lot into FM synthesis and all possible sound generators.
