Valium Doll exists just because she wants to play simple, straight-to-the-heart music. She approached to music very early and after years of formative listen and would-be songs which would never come into being, in 2005 Valium Doll starts her experience with the Blank Symbol, a rock band she still belongs to. Her maturity increases her need to communicate in many ways: she started under the pseudonym Joey Division (a character inspired by Duchamp), she meant to spread “her news” without revealing her identity.
