About Valentin Deppisch
Valentin Joseph Deppisch (c. 1746, Pécs - 14 March 1782, Pécs) was a Hungarian organist and composer. In 1769 he was appointed a musician at Pécs Cathedral, and by 1778 he had attained the position of first organist.
