Vale of Amonition is a doom metal band out of East Africa; formed in Uganda, molded and shaped in Kenya, drawing from traditional and extreme doom sources such as Black Sabbath, Solitude Aeturnus, Solstice, My Dying Bride, Novembers Doom, Katatonia, Type O Negative, to list but a few. The band has been able to fearlessly forge a wholesomely dark and intense stance covering three full length albums - THOSE OF METAL AFAR, THOSE OF TARTAREAN ANCESTRY and now IMMORTALIZING THE LUGUBRIOUS
