About Vale and Year
Vale and Year is a two-piece band from Pittsburgh, PA whose music has been described as "understated indie-folk to squealing No Wave sax and wild experimental passages, incorporating everything from banjo to melodica" (Ed Masley, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). They have released five albums: Vale and Year Create A Perfect History, Vale and Year's Holy Music and Art, Civil, Cardinal, and Famous Fights. In addition, they have released three eps and a string of limited edition improvisational pieces.
