
About Valdine Anderson
Valdine Anderson (born 4th July, 1960 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a Canadian soprano and vocal teacher. Anderson first attracted critical attention after performing as the Maid in a European production of Thomas Adès opera Powder Her Face in 1995. Anderson usually performs as a soloist in ensembles, such as the Ensemble InterContemporain, which she toured with in 1998 and 2000. Since gaining a teaching position in 2004 at the University of Manitoba, Anderson has ceased touring and international performances.
