About Valaam Brotherhood Choir
Valaam Monastery is a Russian Orthodox monastery in western Russia near the border of Finland. It is located on an island (Valaam) in Lake Ladoga. It was founded sometime between the 10th and 14th Centuries, but the exact date is disputed. The Valaam Brotherhood Choir has released many albums of liturgical music on a variety of labels both in Russia and abroad.
