Utz Steigleder was a German organist and composer whose place and date of birth are unknown, and died in Stuttgart on October 7 or 8, 1581. He entered the service of Duke Ulrich of Würtemberg in Stuttgart in 1534, where he held the positions of court organist and abbey organist. His only known work is the Veni Sancte Spiritus with six voices. He was the father of Adam Steigleder.
