
Urban Speech Profile: Lynieve Austin met Kevin Osborne while attending a performing arts university in London. He was studying saxophone while she was honing her skills as a dancer and singer. The two tapped into their mutual musical tastes and started collaborating. Along the way, they worked in Easy, and eight-piece R&B band that heated up the late 80's British rare groove moment. Urban Speech was born ot of Easy's demise. The duo was signed to WEA/Eternal in 1990, and issued several singles that fared moderately to well in the U.K. charts.
