About Uno Naissoo
Composer. Graduated in 1952 from Tallinn Conservatory in the composition class of Prof. Heino Eller. Worked as a teacher of musicology at the Tallinn Music School (1952-80) and at the Tallinn Conservatory (1979-80) where he also was a teacher of light music. He has played piano in many noted pop music-bands (eg "Rütmikud"). Songs with jazz influence take an important place among his works, but he has also written serious music for symphony orchestra and numerous choir songs.
