About Unnecessary Ruffness
Unnecessary Ruffness was started in December 2009 and originally named "The Yellow Snow Cone Dealers". The band was founded by Reace Niles (drums/vocals) and Nathan Villaseñor (guitar) in Orangevale, CA . Later after recruiting Austin Palmer (bass) in late November 2010, the band signed up for the talent show at their high school. On December 15th, they competed and ended up winning the talent show with a cover of "The Ocean" by Led Zeppelin.
