Tzitzimime (born 2007) is an experimental expression of doom and gloom structured largely into abstract sound collages. It takes metaphysical and spiritual inspiration from ancient cultures and religions, and is musically and thematically driven by these sources and particularly the pyramid-builders of Mesoamerica, Mesopotamia and Egypt. Musically, it's somewhere in the dark ambient/drone/noise idiom, crafting texture and mood above all other factors. It is ambiguously specific, or specifically ambiguous. Maybe.
