About Tyl
Tyl was born in 1994 due to a common love for music. Per Brekke, Jonny Sletten, Tom Rune Daae and Tom Eddie Borge made the first lineup. Tyl started making songs and covering songs from bands they where into at the time. Bands like Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilotes, Alice in Chains, Metallica, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Foo Fighters etc. These influences can be heard in the music they make. Tyl sounds like Tyl, with a grunge, post grung feel to it! In 1996 Tyl recorded a demo record, with 6 of their own songs.
