An artist from the southside of Atlanta (College Park), but born in Petersburg, VA. . .TwAn J started rapping around the age of 9, but never took his talents seriously. Constantly getting kicked out of class for writing raps during class, it didn't dawn on him until he was about 12 that he had a a knack for rhymes and quick thinking. When he turned 19, he started a rap group that went under the name, "PowaHouse Recordz". Combining the talents of 3 of his friends and himself, they started performing at open mic events around the city of Atlanta.
