Founded in 1963, the Jackson Jills is Tufts' oldest all-female a cappella group. They are a non-profit group, who frequently sing at charity events, fundraisers, nursing homes, schools, and for private parties around the east coast, sharing their love of music with their audiences. Over the years, the Jills have sung at Symphony Hall with the Boston Pops and for personalities including Senator John Kerry. Their vocal styles range from standards like The Beatles and Pat Benetar to new-comers like Sara Bareilles and the Black Eyed Peas.
