Named for a song by the Mekons, Trouble Down South blends intelligent lyrics with a country heart and a punk sensibility. The band includes Matt Baab, Hayden Childs, Scott Wiedeman and Julie Wood. TDS broke up in January 2004. Julie plays in The Casting Couch. Matt plays in The Distant Seconds. Hayden plays in Parks and Wildlife. Scott is seeking enlightenment in Tibet. ----------------------- At first, I was shocked when TDS asked me to be their official biographer.
