He produces most of his tracks himself, which range from classic, sample-heavy hip-hop to more experimental and electronic sounds. Trolleycat is also a digital artist, creating his own cover art and music videos. Early on, Trolleycat portrayed himself as an angelic figure with black, messy hair. He has cited his main inspirations as JPEGMAFIA, Tyler, the Creator, Joji, Kanye West, and Japanese designer Takashi Murakami.
