Transcend was birthed from a passion to impact youths and inspire them to reach for higher levels in life. This is the very essence of their mission and vision which their name, an acronym, represents: To Raise A New Standard of Christian Examples in a New Day. A band since 1998, the Transcend Klan has changed, matured and evolved over the years from an initial focus in hip-hop dance routines to full-fledged music and song. During its fledgling stage of development, Transcend fought to find its unique sound.
