About Toylets
Toylets were a gothic-influenced post-punk band based in the town of Joure, The Netherlands. Fronted by Schoonebeek-born singer, guitarist and songwriter, Paul Dokter (1961-2020), the band was founded in 1980 as The Toilets, or Toilets (both versions of the name would appear on a single sleeve). They released two singles for the Top Hole record label under that name, then decided to change the name of the band. Having very briefly performed as Subsequent Pleasure
