About Toy Sails
"Formed by Mike Adams and Josh White in May of 2008, the duo started out writing folk songs and soon sought out drummer Ben Straus. As many bands with synergy will say, "something just clicked," and here they are today with a modest but respectable catalog of about 14 songs. Their craftsmanship means not one song ever sounds like the one previous one and sees all members switching instruments throughout their set. Toy Sails may have started out a folk idea, but alludes to the sounds of many bands--even if they don't realize it.
