About Town Criers
In the summer of 1976, just before his freshman year at Weston High, David Charpie joined several friends to form the Town Criers. Now, 35 years later, his son and ten other men are keeping the music alive. The Criers are an award-winning male a cappella group that prides itself on onstage charisma and energy, driven by a tight bond. At the 2010 New England Semi-Final of the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA), TC took home 2nd runner up and the award for Outstanding Arrangement for Maino's "All the Above".
