About Toru Yamanaka
Born:1960 in Japan. Composer, producer, DJ. He has been active in the empirical music field in Kyoto since he was student of Kansai University. He was member of [dumb type] (multimedia group of Kyoto) in early days, where he created a new wave of digital sound music. He has recently collaborated with many artists in different fields. He composed Singaporean director On Ken Sen’s work “The Global Soul”, it is still popular in many countries. He took a part of Biwako biennial 2001 and 2004.
