Tony Ferrino is a spoof Portugese crooner portrayed by UK actor & comedian Steve Coogan. Ferrino was launched to the public by the release of the single "Help Yourself" (a Tom Jones cover) in November 1996. The B-side was the amusingly titled "Bigamy At Christmas". 2 spoof TV shows were shown in the UK at the start of '97. Shortly afterwards, the Tony Ferrino album "Phenomenon" was released on BMG. Due to Coogan's high profile, it was expected to be a huge seller but limped to around 1000 units sold.
